Penne With Tomato And Cheese

Preparation Time: 20 minutes
Cooking Time: About 13 minutes
4 Servings
Combi (C-O+160°C: Medium; C-HI+180°C: Maximum; C-Lo+140°C: Minimum)

Ingredients:

  • 300 gr. pasta (penne)
  • 200 gr. mozzarella
  • 3 big ripe tomatoes
  • olive oil
  • some leaves of very fresh basil
  • salt
  • pepper


Preparation:
  1. Cooking time needed for pasta in microwaves oven is not different from the traditional method. Therefore boil pasta as usual. With a fork, pierce the surface of tomatoes, cut them in two lengthways, get rid of seeds and arrange them in a pan large enough for the pasta
  2. Dust tomatoes with a pinch of sugar and a pinch of pepper, then put them in the oven set at the maximum heat for 3 minutes.
  3. Drain the pasta add the cheese and finely chopped basil.
  4. Stir tomatoes in to the pasta, sprinkle everything with four tablespoons of olive oil, dust with a pinch of sugar and pepper. Put the pan again in the oven set at the maximum heat for 2 minutes, and then serve it.
